THE THREE--STEP CLEANING PROCESS to PROFESSIONALLY CLEAN DESCALE and DISINFECTS the whirlpool bath circulation system. COMMERCIAL USE A whirlpool bath used commercially (e.g. lodging industry use) should be flushed after every use with PURGE Whirlpool Bath Cleaner & Deodorizer to remove bath residue and professionally cleaned at least twice a year. Two professional cleaning are recommended because various occupants of a particular whirlpool bath may use products such as sun tan lotions and bath oils which increase the build-up of scale deposits and the risk of cross infections. HEALTH CARE USE A whirlpool bath used in a health care setting (e.g. hospital rehabilitation center nursing home) (same as commercial use). This maximum maintenance procedure is recommended because occupants of a whirlpool bath in a health care setting typically have immune systems that are weakened due to illness age injury or medical operation and they are more subject to cross infection. THE THREE--STEP CLEANING PROCESS STEP 1 One cup of PURGE is added to 4-8 gallons of water needed to fill the piping of a typical whirlpool bath and the HYDRA 360 cleaning machine. This solution is heated to 135 degrees and circulated throughout a whirlpool baths circulation system for about 20 minutes. Bath residue removed with this first step. STEP 2 A half gallon of Descaler is use (same process as step one) STEP 3 One cup of EPA registered disinfectant (same process as step one) is circulated throughout your whirlpool bath s circulation system for about 10 minutes with the use of the HYDRA 360 cleaning machine and its residue is flushed down the drain. The final phase of a professional cleaning is a clear water rinse of the whirlpool bath s circulation system. By using specially designed HYDRAVAC fittings it is not required to fill and drain your whirlpool bath between the use of each of the chemical products. The process takes about 2 hours to complete.
