I. Position Summary Cuts grades and or selects high quality fish products in the American Fresh or Tuna processing areas and ensures their proper distribution on the loading dock. II. Essential Functions Performs a variety of the following responsibilities Cuts tuna and or fillet according to customers requirements and specifications. Packs fish after cutting and weighing it according to customer specifications. Selects the best fish products available to match the customers requirements and specifications. Grades fish products according to customers requirements and specifications. Checks the customer s order and quality requirements focusing on color smell and other flaws. Tracks daily inventory of available fish products to inform Sales Representatives. Performs other duties as assigned. III. Supervisory Responsibilities N A IV. Minimum Qualifications 1 2 years experience operating fork lifts 1 - 2 years experience in order preparation V. Knowledge Skills and Abilities Knowledge of fish quality grades proper cutting handling and storage techniques Knowledge of company products Ability to use proper tools to fillet fish Ability to lift handle and cut heavy fish Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling processing equipment used in processing area VI. Working Conditions Equipment Uses knives moving loading and cleaning equipment Work Environment Works irregular work shifts Subject to freezer conditions and slippery floors Physical Effort X Position requires strenuous physical work. Heavy team lifting pushing or pulling of objects up to 100 pounds occasionally and or up to 50 pounds frequently.
