I m a retired 65 year old senior citizen (Caucasian heterosexual female) living in a ground-level (but not wheelchair accessible) 2-bedroom apartment in a quiet neighborhood in Gastonia (Exit 14 off of I-85) located just about 15 minutes from the Charlotte Douglas International Airport and about 30 minutes to UNCC or the Charlotte Uptown area and have a moderately-sized partially furnished bedroom available to rent. The room has a standard-sized closet brand new twin-sized bed which may be replaced by a full-sized bed room-sized oriental rug curtains decorated in neutral colors ceiling fan desktop computer telephone and a flat screen television and needs a small or mid-sized dresser which you will need to provide. The rental includes shared livingroom kitchen bathroom washer dryer gas and electric cooking central air conditioning and heat basic cable television internet access unlimited long distance dependable landline telephone service off street parking as well as a bus line immediately in front of the apartment a deck for grilling outdoors although you would need to provide a grill if interested and trash collection recycling services. Rent is 500.00 monthly and includes all of the aforementioned.I d prefer sharing my residence with one mature heterosexual preferably male roommate who works and or travels but retired would be okay if independent and dependable and would consider a heterosexual female - I m sorry but I don t have the personal patience to live with or the room in my home for children am not interested in pets at this time and have no interest in living with illegal substance users heavy alcohol drinkers or ex-convicts.
