Summary The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move locate relocate stack and count merchandise. The operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to fill orders and check the accuracy of other orders. Candidate will be responsible to ensure the working order for their forklifts prior to use. Job Description - Carry out reach forklift truck driving duties to assist with the movement of goods within the warehouse in accordance with the company Fork Lift Truck Operator safety code. - Take receipt of goods from suppliers. - Unpack and check goods received from suppliers against purchase orders. - Advise Team Leader of short deliveries and discrepancies. - Pre-Pack goods into specified quantities and packaging. - Pick and assemble bill of materials. - Plan and carry out safe efficient and logical storage of goods. - Ensure the security of warehouse stock at all times. - Pick goods for customer orders and attend to any special requirements. Experience -Must have at least 1 -2 years of experience as a Forklift Operator.
