Maintenance Mechanic

Manufacturing company seeks Maintenance Mechanic. The work schedule is 3 00am-11 30am. Pay rate for this position is between 15.00- 16.00 an hour. JOB DIMENSIONS Job Summary Under general supervision repair and maintain industrial machines and or parts and perform related duties as assigned. Reports to Maintenance Supervisor Examples of Duties and Responsibilities Repair and maintain machines parts and equipment including lathes mills drills grinders ARC welding bag houses dust collectors blast booths hoists and related equipment set-up and mount parts for maintenance replacement and repair work in accordance with specifications guidelines make adjustments to machinery as needed and lubricate and clean production machinery. QUALIFICATIONS GUIDELINES Any combination equivalent of but not limited to the following Experience Training Education Considerable experience training and or education in the repair and maintenance of industrial machinery. Knowledge Skills Abilities Considerable knowledge of the methods and techniques used in repairing and maintaining production machines ability to clean lubricate and maintain production equipment considerable knowledge of tools and materials necessary for repair and maintenance of industrial machinery ability to operate hand power and welding tools knowledge of safe work practices and procedures ability to understand and follow work instructions ability to read and interpret maintenance and repair specifications. Physical Requirements Ability to bend reach lift move and carry tools and materials. Special Requirements Company certification in the operation of a forklift.
