DC Specialist Hebron KY Great Opportunity with a Great Company Start to work Now Pay Rate 9.00- 10.00 hr 1.00 hr bonus for perfect attendance 2nd shift-2 30pm-11 30pm M-F Overtime available but not mandatory Job Description Skills Operate material handling equipment Perform inventory Transactions Assemble product per work instructions Candidate may be required to work on projects subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). In the event the candidate is required to work on ITAR related projects the candidate must be eligible to meet the requirements of the ITAR. Scope The primary function of this position is to perform the multiple function duties required to receive warehouse pick package or assemble and ship production materials to our customers in a manner which exemplifies total quality and service. Functional skill requirements include lifting and carrying parts ranging from (1) ounce to (50) pounds ability to grasp and move parts ranging in size combination of walking and standing for (8) hours per day repeated bending (1) to (4) hours per day and the ability to see to identify parts read instructions enter data and complete appropriate forms. Supervision This job has no supervision responsibilities. This position functions within a defined work team which is responsible for various defined elements of the complete process. This position will provide direction to supplemental workers who perform various repetitive functions which are the normal responsibility of the DC specialist. Primary Responsibilities The duties include the following Performance of routine tasks as specified in the skills matrix for each functional area of the operation. Operation of warehousing and packaging equipment in a safe manner. Managing personal time to meet expectations of the organization. Validating self-performance as well as the performance of others to assure the quality of work performed. Monitoring various defined performance indices to assure the profitability of the organization. Participating in Team functions such as continuous improvement problem solving and team development meetings. Utilize manual and motorized equipment to move incoming and or outgoing parts to predetermined warehouse locations.
