Antebellum Bloodstone Pinky ring

This is a ring that was typically given at the birth of a daughter in the south in the years before the Civil War. It is a pinky ring size 3 and is probably coin silver. They did not mark them untill years later. The piece is perfect along with the stone itself. Not many were even given because of expense and few survive today.
