Legacy Carriers LLC Looking for local truck drivers to move tractor - trailer dry vans transport packaging freight from the Yuba City CA area. Driver will possibly stay out one night out of the week and will be home the for the other nights weekends off. Must maintain a logbook of their driving activities to ensure compliance with federal regulations governing the rest and work periods for operators. Drivers are also to keep a record of vehicle inspections (DVIR s) and make sure the truck is equipped with load securement and necessary safety equipment needed. Responsible for the scheduled PM and services of both assigned tractor and trailer. Keeping good communications with operations safety and dispatch. Complete and turn in signed delivery receipts BOL s Daily logs DVIR s and any other document associated with each load. Applicant Requirements Possess a valid class A commercial driver s license Proof of current Medical Card At least 25 years of age Two years verifiable OTR experience Clean MVR meet the minimal FMCSA & USDOT new hire requirements
