SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Ability to read and write in English Ability to follow written and verbal directions Ability to use decimals and fractions Ability to work from ordinary and complex drawings specifications. Use handbook formulas and charts. Knowledge and ability to use a variety of precision measuring instruments such as micrometers verniers bevel protractors dial and other type indicators. Knowledge of simple mechanics some machining methods. At least 2 years previous work experience in a Manufacturing environment. JOB REQUIREMENTS Good judgement necessary because of the wide variety of work. Sustained physical effort tearing down and repairing shop machinery and equipment handling parts and attachments Continuous mental or visual attention required planning repair procedures diagnosing and troubleshooting. Diagnose and troubleshoot problems as well as maintain daily weekly and monthly preventative maintenance scheduled. Complete all repairs efficiently and cost effectively while minimizing downtime.
