ACCOUNTING PAYABLE Part Time

Accounts payable Specialist Clerks should be proficient and knowledgeable in all areas of payables. Position will be responsible for processing daily deposits keying payroll data filing calculating and entering time cards into computer systems matching and entering invoices receiving and reviewing invoices from vendors and making sure the company s records match the cost of the bill for payment. This position is also responsible for additional clerical duties. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have 2 months of experience and basic understanding of accounting principles. Candidate must be detail-oriented and able to handle multiple time sensitive and confidential projects. Clerks have to maintain an above-average level of accuracy. Candidates should possess interpersonal bookkeeping decision making and problem-solving skills. Accounts payable clerks must be able to work with computerized accounting spreadsheets. Skills Accounts payable specialists must be expert mathematicians and pay close attention to detail. They need to be highly analytical organized capable problem solvers and motivated. They also need to work well independently and possess sound communication skills to interact with vendors management and co-workers. In addition to those skills these specialists should have a firm understanding of computers and accounting-related software needed to perform the job.
