JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and Conduct Human Resource education and skills training Develop and conduct Human Resources education training classes and workshops (Employee Relations Sexual Harassment Positive Employee Relations Diversity Workforce Readiness etc.) Leadership Development Manage development plans for GM Development Program candidates Talent Board Candidates. Manage special projects webinars etc.for development. Develop and conduct skills training classes and workshops (Interviewing Recruiting & Selection Leadership Training Employee Benefits & Compensation Programs etc.) Investigate Employee Relations issues and Promote a Positive Work Environment. Conduct investigations of employee complaints. Review and approve all involuntary terminations. Conduct proactive employee surveys listening sessions focus groups and one-on-one discussions to promote positive work environment analyze results and provide recommendations to Directors. Analyze Recruitment Needs in difficult markets and Develop Strategies to insure adequate staffing levels Manage recruitment process for all positions. Diagnose root cause recruiting issues and manpower needs in difficult markets for hourly teams (e.g. high turnover high absenteeism etc.) develop recruiting strategies and action plans execute action plans along with Directors and track performance. Conduct exit interviews for departing team members. Administrative Follow-up on drug testing compliance motor vehicle re-run violations new hire legal compliance worker s compensation issues unemployment claims and reviews as necessary etc. Conduct HR System Audits. Project Planning & Objectives Implementation C Assist HR Director on National Projects and rollout in designated markets. Together with the HRDirector set quarterly objectives for designated market and manage the completion of goals. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor degree in Human Resources or related field required 3-5 years HR generalist experience required (to include recruiting employee relations training compensation and benefits HRIS administration)
