Concentric is currently looking for a skilled Certified Phlebotomist for 2nd and 3rd shifts Work Performed 1. Perform a variety of routine blood drawing procedures using standard equipment including vaccutainer tubes and sleeves tourniquets syringes and butterfly needles. 2. Work with patient to obtain information for laboratory records explain procedures allay fears and elicit cooperation. 3. Utilize standard procedures for the maintenance of positive patient identification record appropriate collection information on proper requisitions. 4. Prepare process label and store patient specimens and samples using standard techniques and equipment for subsequent analysis by Clinical Laboratory staff. 5. Provide technical guidance to Phlebotomy students assigned to work area. 6. Maintain inventory of supplies reorder as required stock supplies on carts and hand trays. 7. Perform other related duties incidental to the position. Requirements 1. Phlebotomy Technician certificate REQUIRED - Medical Assistant diploma certificate INSUFFICIENT 2. 2 years recent hospital experience preferred within the past 4 years - NOT including in- externship
