I have been an English teacher for 23 years. I have taught 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th 7th and 8th grades here in Texas. If your child is struggling with reading or writing I just might be your answer. I specialize in the STAAR and helping your child overcome the anxiety behind this horrible test The test is not about just passing it is about mastering the skills needed to advance to the next grade. If your child just passed this year with 70 s on his her report card then he she is probably not as ready as you think you are for the next grade. I work with my students making sure that they master each objective needed for reading and writing. I want my students to leave me confident in their reading and writing abilities. Self-esteem plays a huge part in your childs education. A child with a high self-esteem can overcome just about anything. I charge anywhere from 50.00-100.00 an hour depending on what is needed. I am a certified Master Teacher Gifted and Talented ESL..etc.. I also work well with Aspergers kids and kids that have ADHD. I have a God given talent of patience and being able to reach just about every student that I teach. Your child s success is my number one priority Please only call or text me if you are serious.
