The School of Teaching and Curriculum Leadership (STCL) in the College of Education at Oklahoma State University is seeking an outstanding individual to serve as a Visiting Assistant Professor to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Workforce and Adult Education. This faculty member will serve in a temporary non-tenure-track position to contribute to the Workforce and Adult Education program and the School of Teaching and Curriculum Leadership (STCL) as well as to the College of Education and Oklahoma State University by engaging in these and other professional activities. Serve as an active faculty member engaged in collegial planning and program development in the Workforce and Adult Education program and the broader School of Teaching and Curriculum Leadership. Teach graduate courses in Occupational Education and undergraduate courses in Career and Technical Education. Serve as advisory committee member to masters and doctoral students in Occupational Education. Collaborate with university and public school faculty. Serve in leadership positions in professional organizations. Help develop teacher education curricula. Participate in university outreach. The successful candidate will understand the university s land grant mission and embrace the opportunity to make a positive impact on the community through teaching service and scholarship appropriate to the position. The position is primarily assigned to the OSU-Stillwater campus with some responsibilities at the OSU-Tulsa campus. Qualifications Ed.D. Ph.D. in Occupational Education or related area and emphasis. Evidence of consistently high quality teaching. Ability to serve as research mentor to graduate students. Evidence of intra- and inter-school and college collaboration. Minimum three years of successful classroom teaching experience. Salary will be commensurate with experience contingent upon available funding. Assignment will begin January 5 2015.
