1965 Antique 9.5 evinrude outboard

Bought when it was 1 year old. Used for 2fishing trips a year to Minneapolis. We have had it tuned up every year. We went this spring and it gave dad trouble up there so we decided to buy a new Johnson 15 hp for him. They said the carb needs cleaned i guess we didn t get all the gas out of it. It will start and die after 30 seconds. We didn t have the time up there to wait on it to be fixed so bought a new one. It has been a good motor and is clean. It has been kept inside it whole life on a stand. We cracked the name plate on the front of the motor this spring pulling the rope. The rest has a little wear and tear from use but over all very clean for 49 years old. See pics. edit had motor checked out and found that the needle valve was stuck. And I bought a new name plate that was cracked. The engine runs perfect.
