The head has the clamshell that s double padded and the cab has the regular cover with the strap that goes under the bottom so it doesn t come loose during transit.What makes this amp so special Versatility.You ve played the amps that either do 1 thing really well or many things not so well. This head is in essence 2 single channel amps in 1 box that are footswitchable.Channel 1 is the badcat version of a matchless DC30. The original designer from the company matchless was the original designer for badcat amps so this channel is what he saw as the next step forward on his design. They are not identical but very similar. If you re familiar with badcat amps this is channel 1 of the black cat. It can get loud and have that glassy vox clean tone with the big bottom end of a twin.
