INSULATION CREW CHIEF FOREMANFANCHISE NAME USA Insulation of ScrantonPOSITION SUMMARY Timely efficient and service oriented individual to lead a crew of insulation installers in homes or businesses throughout Northeastern PA POSITION SUMMARY Perform Pre-shift meetings with installers to direct team to separate jobs. To lead a team of installers in the day to day installation of insulation and customer service. To install foam insulation in walls of existing residential or commercial homes. To install loose fiberglass insulation or batts insulation in attics crawl spaces or other areas of home. To install ventilation and other peripheral products in homes or businesses. To schedule service calls to meet the schedule of the homeowner and USA Insulation. To inventory all materials parts and misc. Order to replenish any and all materials parts etc. To train new and existing on all facets of insulation installation. Maintain usage job time overtime and tracking reports for each job completed.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Strong Team Communication Skills Strong Customer Service Skills Thorough knowledge of foam installation equipment Ability to maintain troubleshoot and correct any mechanical problem with any and all insulation installation equipment Ability to work in attics basements and crawl spaces Ability to work in extreme cold and extreme heat Able to work on ladders (up to 28 ) and work with hand tools Able to manage paperwork and collect payments Able to work with drills pumps and all equipment necessary for installing insulation Must keep home business clean during and after installation (inside and outside) Educate customers on service and installation features Educate installers on any and all insulation installation techniques Schedule service calls as needed Track inventory of parts and materials and inform office manager to reorder Pride self on high quality installations and do the job right the first time Provide all customers with excellent customer service Understand home construction including but not exclusive to siding removal and installation brick drilling and mortaring shingle removal and installing wood drilling and plugging and all areas of wall and attic installation Follow all policies and procedures of USA Insulation while on duty Perform any and all other functions or tasks assigned by the crew chief and Owner OperatorSTATUS & SCOPE Must have valid state drivers license Non-negligent driving record Must be able to read and write Must be able to manage customer paperwork Must be able to speak English Physical exam (275 lbs. weight limit in working clothes and safety gear) Able to lift and move up to 80 lbs Possess good organization and verbal communication skills QUALIFICATIONS Commitment to Customer Service Working knowledge of siding home building drills pumps and hand tools Ability to troubleshoot product and installation problems USE OF EQUIPMENT Drills Truck Hand Tools Power Tools GPS Pumps & Equipment and Siding ToolsTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS More than 30% local daily travel required (more than 30% within 2 hour radius normally) LIFTING REQUIREMENTS Heavy Lifting 100 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and or carrying objects up to 50 pounds PHYSICAL DEMANDS Physical demands of this position include constant bending pushing reaching seeing speaking walking and standing frequent hearing and climbing Occasional Keying.
