Application Service Engineer Camtek provides automated Defect Inspection solutions dedicated to enhancing production process and yield in the Back-end & front-end of FAB s. Provides macro-defect inspection for OQC Lithography and CMP process for wafer level defect including sub-micron surface inspection. Leadership positioning in the backend inspection technology of probe mark inspection 3DIC CMOS and CMOS Image Sensor Analog and Mixed Signal MEMS and special applications. Provides a fully automated 2D and 3D metrology and defects detection covering the most advanced industry requirements and supporting the industry roadmap projected TSV diameters. Job Responsibilities Responsible for first line support of CONDOR Inspection systems. Works independently to maintain regular communications with customers and provide prompt problem resolution to insure total customer satisfaction. Performs installation training and hardware software maintenance of CONDOR Inspection systems Proactively and reactively look for solutions to prevent problems from occurring at customer sites Interfaces and communicates seamlessly with HQ teams as necessaryUp to 75% travel may be required throughout the region. Must have the ability to travel internationally for training. Additional Duties Attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions suggesting information about other products and services. Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer s complaint determining the cause of the problem selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem expediting correction or adjustment following up to ensure resolution. Recommends potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. As part of this position there will be traveling involved around the country. The position is for the California East Coast or Dallas areas but if needed there might be a relocation of the engineer to customer territory. Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Electronic Engineering and or Associates degree in a related field 2 years experience with Inspection systems equipment or in the semiconductor industry (preferred) High computer literacy (PC required) Preferred with Semiconductor and AOI experienceStrong customer support skills effectively dealing with conflicts Excited about technology and has the desire to learn new tasks and technologies Ability to work independently on assigned tasks Customer service oriented punctual and reliable Strong customer relations and communication skills both verbal and written Ability to perform while under high-pressure situations Ability to manage complex customer problems Additional Skills Qualifications Customer Service Product Knowledge Quality Focus Problem Solving Market Knowledge Documentation Skills Listening Phone Skills Resolving Conflict Analyzing Information Multi-tasking HW trouble shooting and basic computer skills.
