Teaching Assistant

The Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering Department at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering located in Tallahassee FL is looking for a teaching assistant mentor for our distance learning program with St. Petersburg College. Qualified individuals will have a BS MS or PhD (graduate degrees are preferable) in an engineering discipline. This is a part-time OPS position. The individual selected for this position will reside in St. Petersburg however some travel to Tallahassee FL will be needed. The salary is commensurate with relevant experience. The initial level of employment is for 20 hours per week. The duties are not limited to but will include (1) proctor exams and supervise student presentations (2) facilitate advanced materials lab sessions at SPC (3) mentor students for engineering courses and (4) coordinate classes open and close the classroom establish video and audio connections before lectures.Individuals interested in applying for this position should email their CV and the names of three references to one of the contacts listed below.
