Responsible for assisting the Assistant AD Director of Facilities and Operations with the operations of all facility projects. Supervises pre-season in-season facility preparation for game day and special events. Oversee all aspects of care and maintenance for the spas and pools as well as the maintenance and preparation of artificial practice fields game day fields basketball arena etc. Responsible for up-to-date OSHA rules and regulations including all MSDA for pools and spas. Minimum qualifications High School Ged and seven years in building maintenance with a background in mechanical Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and or electrical systems. Must have or able to obtain within 6 months EPA Universal Refrigerant License. Certified Pool Operator License. Synthetic Turf certification. Knowledge of Federal and State building codes safety regulations and workplace practices. Knowledge of Building Automation system and components. Knowledge of microprocessor-based automation system for the control of water chemistry. Knowledge or ability to learn of synthetic field turf maintenance. Must be proficient in MicroSoft office WordPerfect Outlook and internet technology. Must be able to life in excess of 50 lbs. Construction and fabrication of equipment and parts.
