Dental Clinic in Dalton Salary Range Negotiable Based on T& E Pay Grade MBE Duties Provide clinical services to children in Gilmer Murray and Whitfield Counties. Practice the full scope of general dentistry and minor oral surgery in an established clinic. The Whitfield County Health Department Dental Clinic is a state of the art 4 operatory clinic (plus 2 hygiene rooms) featuring digital imaging electronic practice management system and trained staff. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of dental services and programs. Oversee the planning development scheduling and implementation of dental programs and activities for the district. Plan organize and direct the work of the unit (2 dentists 2 dental hygienists and 5 clerical support staff) to provide continuous active treatment to the patients served. A fully equipped 2 chair mobile dental office is also in use. This position is eligible for NHSC loan and service credit. Minimum Qualifications Current state of Georgia license to practice dentistry and one year experience in clinical dentistry. Preferred Qualifications One year experience performing management responsibilities in a healthcare setting.
