Full Time Medical Assistant

Full Time Medical Assistant 40 hour position available in a psychiatric practice. Looking for applicant with the following qualifications - Certified Medical Assistant with a minimum of two years experience - Knowledge of psychotropic medications and the disorders for which they are prescribed. - Knowledge of submitting preauthorizations for medications - Ability to track patients who apply and or are currently with Medication Assistance Programs - Skilled at maintaining patient charts providing an orderly system for medical providers - Ability to administer submit documentation for Urinalysis Analysis and Pharmocogenetic Screens - Ability to work cooperatively with medical providers - Proficient in completing simultaneous duties and the knowledge of prioritizing them appropriately.
