Antique Surveyor s Level is believed to be about a 1938-1940 model with the serial 491357 with a 8 1 2 to 8 3 4 scope and is 13 in height.Everythingworks and in good shape.The Manufacturer s Name W.& L.E. GURLEY TROY NY U.S.A. N.S.E.& W Needle still works all the levels still works. Comes with a TRI-POD that stands 35 at shortest height and extends to a little over 5 feet high and with surveyor level screwed on it can be over 6 feet in height.The old wood legs are still in good shape but should handled with a little TLC. This is a museum piece and should be kept as such but that is up to who ever buys it. I have the box it came in but it is weather beaten and fell apart but possibly can be salvaged.
