FJ40 clad in Dune Beige with a grey soft top. Equipped with both power steering and power disc brakes it s had a few upgrades as a nod to modern convenience without losing its vintage bona fides. Paint quality is outstanding the truck saw a frame-off nut-and-bolt restoration five years ago including a fully rebuilt drivetrain at a cost exceeding 15 000. There s not a speck of rust or bondo anywhere on the truck top or bottom and the underside has been rhino-lined for added durability. All lenses are new (and the Hella H4 headlights are a nice upgrade from stock) all rubber seals and weathertripping are new and most of the hardware is new. Some trim is original but in very good condition. Factory steel wheels with hubcaps are in pristine condition with new BF Goodrich all terrain tires. And a very nice soft top with custom soft doors (with lift-out hinges for easy removal) give this FJ40 a fantastic look. The interior shows as new with reupholstered front bench and rear jump seats. The body-color floors covered with custom-fitted rubber mats are crisp and clean. Dash is of course excellent. A roll bar with three-point seat belts is a nice safety upgrade. The steering wheel has a tasteful leather wrap the rear heater has been restored and works properly. Under the hood is Toyota s F155 straight six mated to a three-speed manual transmission. The engine gearbox and transfer case have been rebuilt (including a new clutch) power steering and power brakes have been added. Brake master cylinder and all wheel cylinders and brake lines are new. New exhaust. The truck starts runs drives steers and stops beautifully -- just as you would expect with a high-end restoration. The engine compartment maintains a very correct appearance -- the only deviation from stock is an Optima battery with an on-board battery tender mounted above it. Attention to detail is evident in every aspect of this truck it s in turn-key condition and needs nothing except to be enjoyed and admired by its next owner.
