Even the most reliable outboards have what we call prone to fail components . These are specific parts that we have found to most likely to fail on a particular outboard. If you are interested Outboard Exchange or one of our affiliates will perform the survey. If we find any systems that are due to fail in the near future we will recommend a repair or an upgrade. If you agree to the improvement we can offer you an extended warranty. At the very least you will get a totally objective opinion of the condition of your outboardUntil the end of February we are offering an additional 6 months on the 3 year extended warranty which would begin April 1 2015.
