Welder Maintenance Technician

Kelly Services is looking for a Welder Maintenance Technician for one of our valued clients located in Chilhowie VA. These are temp to hire positions. Day shift 7 00am to 3 30pm. Pay is 12.00 to start. PLC experience is a big plus Excellent MIG welding experience required. Must be able to perform all weld shop functions (i.e. torch-cutting MIG welding grinding and other general welding responsibilities.) Must be able to follow detailed instructions Weld components in flat vertical or overhead positions Clamp hold tack-weld heat bend grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding Layout position align and secure parts assemblies prior to assembly using straightedges combination squares calipers and rulers Must possess electrical aptitude and ability Must be able to operate a variety of bench hand and shop tools Individual must display a conscientious and safe work style Must be able to follow the direction of a Group Leader and also work as an individual or a team member as the work requires O.T. as required Apply in person at 1969 Lee Highway Bristol VA 24201 or call Jim Stout at 276-466-0428
