Let me also just give you a quick rundown on what we ask for from our host families and what our students are like We ask host families to 1. provide 3 meals a day and a bed for the student to sleep in.(students do NOT need to have their own rooms but if they are sharing it should be with someone of the same gender and within 4 years older or younger than themselves.)2. Invite the student to be a part of your family - teach them your family s culture and treat them like one of your own Our students 1. Are in high school and speak English well enough to participate in high school classes while in the US.2. Have their own spending money to cover expenses such as travel entertainment yearbook etc.3.
