One of our Major banking client is looking for ITIL Incident Change Management Consultant (Network E-mail Server Mainframes Exp.) Location Scarborough ON Duration 6 Months contract with possible extension Hours M-F (9-5) or ( 8-4) and the role requires 24 7 call rotation shift We are currently seeking an Incident Manager to fill a role in the Incident Management and Service Availability team. The candidate will report to the Senior Manager Availability management . Must haves 6 years experience as an Incident Manager in a large enterprise environment 6 years with Network and IT operations manager 5 years with Problem and Change management 5 years with core ITIL processes 5 years with Process Improvement and Service Level Agreements Solid Knowledge of large scale Mainframe Distributed systems and Networks Ability and commitment to work in the Call rotation environment 24 7 Solid Data Centre background and management skills. Comes from Banking Financial Consulting The successful candidate will have a breadth of IT and Business experience Responsibilities The individual will be responsible for timely and accurate communication and coordination of all Major Incidents that may potentially result in service level agreements being compromised Ensure that our Major third party technology partners adhere to our Incident Problem and Change processes The individual will provide a leadership role to Senior ITS and Business Management teams during Major Incident situations and recovery actions Demonstrated leadership skills with a superior ability to make things happen through the use of impact and influencing skills Proven track record of delivering results ensuring operational reputational and proprietary risks are minimized Strong change management skills with demonstrated ability to act as a catalyst for change Strong organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment Strong customer orientation and a professional approach with the ability to interact with all levels within the organization Highly developed critical thinking analytical and problem solving skills Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) Previous People Management experience is required (5 years minimum) Provide leadership to attract retain high quality people including appropriate employee communication sound structure processes succession planning etc. Promote and support an environment that encourages productivity innovation teamwork and a high level of professionalism Manage appropriate recovery of costs to ensure effective cost management within own area and develop manage budgets for IT related activities Continuously enhance knowledge expertise in own area and keep current with industry and or business trends Self-motivated team player with high energy and ability to work independently as well as within a team Experience identifying and implementing process improvements Ability to turn strategy into practical solutions Knowledge of large scale Mainframe Distributed systems and Networks Willing and able to manage staff in multiple locations Thorough understanding of the core ITIL processes.
