Their product offering includes both brand labeled products as well as products that are marketed under their own label. The company is described as agile apolitical and refreshing. Position Summary As a Senior Product Manager you will be responsible for managing developing and implementing marketing activities to maximize sales on an assigned product or product lines. This is a new position due to company growth. Responsibilities Develop strategies based on research and analysis for the following Market demands Technology trends Competition Direct and oversee all aspects of product life cycle management including Managing the strategic product roadmap Defining new products Launching products Work with sales teams to identify and implement appropriate sales strategies. Visit customers as needed to discuss product requirements and demonstrate products. Attend trade shows to speak to customers and promote products. Requirements Bachelors degree in Engineering or a Science Degree. (MBA a plus.) At least 5 years experience in the field of Industrial Controls or Factory Automation. Strong knowledge of Industrial Controls products and networks and the needs of customers. Ability to organize work engage in a variety of tasks simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines. Well-developed presentation skills. Ability to express self effectively and concisely both verbally and in writing. Ability to demonstrate a high attention to detail and good follow-up skills.
