Product Engineer

SUMMARY The Product Engineer will design develop and document new products and product line enhancements with a focus on quality cost and best manufacturing processes. RESPONSIBILITIES Creatively design analyze and document product designs on multiple projects Determine material labor and overhead costs on products Work with other engineers to determine best manufacturing processes for new and existing products Apply engineering principles to ensure all quality aspects of product design and manufacturing are met Investigate or develop use of new materials processes and concepts Research and analyze competitive products to determine performance cost and packaging methods Infrequently travel as needed throughout the United States and Canada Work cross-functionally to ensure products and materials meet functional requirements over the life of the product QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor s degree in product design mechanical engineering or a related field OR 8 years of related engineering experience required Demonstrated knowledge of CAD design systems required ProE experience preferred Knowledge of MRP ERP systems required SAP experience preferred Must be able to work in the United States on a continual basis without sponsorship MANAGEMENT BUSINESS SOLUTIONS IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
