Job Description Peoplscout is managing the Director of Sales search for Springhill Suites Augusta GAJob SummarySomeone with hotel Director of Sales is highly desired. A Sr Sales manager with supervisory experience and proven track record would also be considered. As a Director of Sales you will be an intricate part of the team energizing sales initiatives and passionate about success. Major Responsibilities Achieving or exceeding individual team sales goals and hotel budgets. Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to maximize revenue generation. Prepare annual revenue budget annual marketing plan and quarterly monthly sales strategy reports. Direct and participate in the sales efforts of the hotel as outlined in the marketing plan. Properly follow-up on leads and administer group and corporate contracts. Ability to negotiate rates with a client creating a win-win situation for both client and hotel. Communicate to other department s any and all special request you may have for guests. Attend trade shows conventions and participate with local events and network at chamber events. Cultivate and source leads through cold calls telemarketing direct sales and networking. Maintain rapport with competitor hotels lead sources clients and the local community. Submit weekly sales reports to General Manager and hotel ownership. Work closely with General Manager and Front Desk on Revenue Management. Job Requirements Candidate must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Sr Sales manager or higher. S he will have supervisory experience a high level of enthusiasm and be one who thrives in a fast-paced market. The minimum qualifications for this position are Experience supporting a recognized hospitality brand (Marriott Hilton IHG Wyndham etc ) Minimum of 3 experience managing or leading hotel sales. Knowledge of forecasting sales and interpreting analyzing results to plan and conducting budgetary analysis. Knowledge of sales skills revenue management recruiting supervising training and motivating managers. Demonstrated ability to understand customer requirements and translating these into sales solutions.
