Local Class A Delivery Installation Position 3months TT REQUIRED

990 weekly avg. 51 000 yearly avg. 40-45 avg of stops wk. delivering an avg of 250-500 units wk. Time off Shift Start times 6-8am and work a 10-14 hr shift. Home daily off most weekends but Sat work is available and on occasions is required. Position Details Unloading during home delivery 100% of stops or at store locations 100% of stops. Will use a ramp and dolly to off load appliances furniture and fitness equipment unless there is a dock provided. Drivers will be based at cross-dock facilities in Des Moines. ALL appliances will be staged on cross-dock for drivers to load product on to the trailer or box truck from the cross-dock facilities. Loads are multi-stop and include un-boxing and installation of appliances to homes apartments and businesses. Drivers will make home new construction & job site deliveries of appliances to customers homes buisness and building sites. Once at the delivery location drivers will be responsible for unloading & uncrating the appliances moving them into the location and then installing the appliances. Training will be provided on installing appliances including electric ovens and clothes dryers range hoods drop-in ovens dishwashers and garbage disposals. Delivery drivers and helpers load their assigned trailers or straight truck daily and are responsible for making damage free deliveries. Additional Details Special Requirements Drivers need to be able to load and unload appliances. They also need some knowledge of installing appliances in their past. They will deliver new appliances and sometimes return with old or damaged appliances.
