One of our well established banking client in Downtown Vancouver is looking for a Sales support administrator This is for a 2 months contract temp to perm opportunity. Sales support administrator Hours Day Time Hours 37.5 hours per week. LOB Global Asset Management The Sales support administrator is accountable for providing sales and administrative support to ensure ongoing sales effectiveness. The role supports two Regional Sales Managers in their preparation for and execution of client facing sales activities.Accountabilities Schedules and coordinates a targeted number of weekly Tier 1 client appointments for two Regional Sales Managers along with the planning of territory events for the purpose of promoting the sale of Global Asset Management (Canada) products Provide ongoing sales and administrative support for two RSMs and their sales regions. Administrative support includes duties such as customized presentation support sales material collation premium control (ordering and distributing inventory) vacation scheduling etc. Provide ongoing administrative support to the Global Asset Management (Canada) Sales Team related to sales campaigns road shows and other programs Provide ongoing technology support (computer LCD Blackberry) to the RSMs and sales team and keep current on technology and tracking systems changes - ordering new equipment etc. Provide regular (weekly monthly) summaries of sales activity reports financials and expense management reports Respond to simple product and sales related questions enquires from clients and from other areas of Global Asset Management (Canada) and escalate more complex questions as appropriate Service Support Take ownership of customer satisfaction with the advisor channel by effectively resolving minor issues tactfully and in a timely manner escalating where required Act as a liaison for the Global Asset Management (Canada) Team ensuring information is documented and maintained in an organized fashion Respond to queries and requests from sales team members in a timely manner -There will be 1.5 weeks of trainingSkills Detailed oriented Comfortable with outbound calls and building relationships - experience in a sales support role. Interest and demonstrated knowledge in the investment industry Demonstrated ability to clearly and decisively set priorities Financial industry experience is preferred has CSC or working towards it is an asset Prior experience managing expenses is an asset Preferred background in Finance client facing sales front line in a branch having worked with mutual funds has supported an advisor. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent inter-personal and communication skills Strong customer service orientation Very proficient in Word Excel and PowerPoint Knowledge of investment products and services an asset Bachelor s degree in finance is preferred. 3-5 years experience required in a sales support role.
