Sales Manager

SUMMARY MBS is seeking extraordinary sales professionals with proven experience achieving and exceeding sales goals for a Grand Rapids MI based Sales Manager role covering the Midwest territory. RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement a sales strategy and grow assigned territory Manage a sales force of 7 outside sales staff Maintain existing client business relationships and cultivate and develop new ones Act as a consultant and trusted advisor to customers in the region Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers vendors Generate hot leads by prospecting cold calling and participating in tradeshows Represent the company at conferences tradeshows sales meetings and networking events Identify and build relationships with key contacts within market leading companies Perform product demonstrations and educate customers on product use and applications. Work with all departments internally to ensure customer needs are being met or exceeded Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops reviewing trade and technical publications establishing professional networks and or participating in professional associations and attending industry trade shows and conferences Serve as technical subject expert and resource and share specialized knowledge with others QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor s degree in business marketing or a related field OR equivalent experience required 7 to 10 years of technical sales experience in a B2B environment required sales experience in the industrial paint and commercial industries preferred Experience in heating cooling and filtration highly preferred Highly competitive and professional exhibits integrity sense of urgency and innate sales skills Excellent interpersonal relationship skills with a high focus on customer loyalty Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint) and CRM MANAGEMENT BUSINESS SOLUTIONS IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
