One of our well established Clients in the Document Management Industry is looking for a Procurement Business Analyst for Brampton ON. This is a 1 year contract position with a strong possibility of an extension. French is a definite asset Overview The analyst will assist in ensuring that appropriate business and procurement decisions are made based on the facts presented by their sophisticated analytical analysis that utilizes both internal and external data sources and determine opportunities for process improvements contracting and sourcing optimization and procurement strategy alignment with the Company s corporate strategy and mission Key Responsibilities Analyze procurement requirements to effectively manage business demand requirements and optimize the sourcing strategies for a given category of spend Proficiently use sourcing tools (RFX s E-Sourcing) to facilitate sourcing of various goods and services categories Analyze operational activity and interface with relevant internal stakeholders (e.g. accounts payable finance) to propose implement and manage changes in procurement processes and strategy Service level agreement (SLA) creation and management Validate communication on preferred supplier vendor deals is accurately reflected for a given category of spend on intranet site Collect store monitor manage and analyze all supplier contracts and identify sourcing and or negotiation opportunities for increased value reduced costs Development and on-going maintenance and communication of approved National Supplier Listing Requirements Degree in Business Math Computer Science Management Information Systems or similar Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience General procurement function experience SCMA Certification or equivalent an asset Superior quantitative and analytical skills statistics knowledge and experience is highly sought Procurement and contract management knowledge Thorough understanding and expertise in data manipulation sorting and analysis tools (Access Excel SAP etc.) Strong financial modeling skills Strong problem solving skills Ability to create unique solutions to manage and or analyze data Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively multi-task Organizational and time management skills Strong interpersonal skills Ability to work in a team (Team Management Skills are an asset) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience with statistical analysis or similar Experience working with sophisticated ERP system Experience working with E-Procurement Tools Please note that this is the most up to date version of job description available at this time During Client Interview you will receive additional information variance may apply When you have some time please register in our database (5 minute process) to be considered for future openings the link is available on our website at www.teamrecruiter.com in the Candidate section.
