Teaching approach Studying with a music teacher is very different from studying with a performing professional. Not only do I have experience teaching all levels of musicians but I have the experience in the rehearsal spaces and performance venues that can give a unique perspective to learning music. About the teacher Hello My name is Juan. I am from San Juan Puerto Rico and I was raised in the United States. I am currently a Doctoral Candidate at the University of Toronto in music performance and principal clarinetist of the Ontario Philharmonic Orchestra. I received a Master s degree at Rice University (Houston TX) and a Performance Diploma at the Glenn Gould School (Toronto ON). I have many years of experience teaching clarinet and saxophone and love to work with all ages and experience levels. I would be happy to give one-on-one lessons either in person or on Skype.
