Harriman Material Handling a full service material handling company that has specialized in in overhead cranes and hoists is looking for an outside sales representative to cover an existing territory in Indiana. Applicants should have a proven sales record in business to business sales with experience preferably in industrial sales. We are looking for a true relational sales person. Job Description 1. Increase sales by servicing existing accounts and obtaining new orders. 2. Establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing and potential customers. 3. Keep management informed by entering call information into ACT and filling out weekly call schedules. 4. Submit requests for quotes for our inside sales team to develop proposals. 5. Recommend products based on customer wants and needs. 6. Resolve customer issues by investigating problems developing solutions and making recommendations to management. 7. Maintain both professional and technical knowledge. 8. Incorporate new and existing sales plans and marketing strategies to increase sales. 9. Meet or exceed sales goals set by management.
