Our client is well-established in the printing and consulting industry. They are looking for an Entry Level Service Technician (Bilingual) in Ottawa ON to work on a long term assignment. Essential Duties Client Services Serve as the primary customer contact for all maintenance productivity and supply requests of assigned equipment. Interface with end users and IT to support troubleshoot all printing related issues Ability to identify and migrate customer applications to the most cost efficient output device. Perform pro-active routine services to ensure equipment availability to client site users. Check operation of equipment clean adjust as required to ensure optimal print quality Replace consumables as required (CRU paper toner) Proactively manage consumables and supplies replacement. Complete inventory reporting as required. Provide customer training on assigned products to improve end user knowledge of equipment functionality. Support equipment asset management within the account Assist in providing accurate and timely monthly reporting. Service Repair and Maintenance Perform preventative and corrective maintenance services to maximize equipment uptime and performance. Effectively engage company s Technical Service to maintain device service levels Develop and implement a preventative maintenance schedule for identified high-use equipment. Perform scheduled maintenance as appropriate to improve uptime. Perform colour printer calibration (when required). Mandatory Requirement The Candidates-have to speak and write French or be bilingual French and English (oral and written). Basic computer networking electrical and mechanical skills is required.
