Noted Florida law firm seeks a Foreclosure focused Paralegal with 2-5 years of foreclosure experience in a law firm setting to join its Jacksonville office. Candidate will possess the following Foreclosure experience (experience should be current or very recent) Ability to draft legal documents pleadings correspondence to court and case parties Experience in a law firm setting Ability to work a case from beginning to end High proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Suite Experience with Needles software a plus Strong communication and organizational skills 4 year College and or Paralegal Certificate from ABA accredited school. Responsibilities include but are not limited to -Preparing of Affidavits Assignments Amended Complaints Drops Defaults Motion for Summary Judgment and Final Judgment packages initial drafts of responses to discovery defense motions and affirmative defenses. -Updating clients daily via email and or applicable systems such as Black Knight fka LPS Lenstar Vendorscape RealResolution Quandis. -Requesting flat and hourly fees from clients follow-up as necessary receive and record fee approval internally. -Ensuring proper billing entries for tasks performed on a file. -Maintaining hearing calendar by ensuring attendance to all court events advance preparation of hearing packages and immediate processing of hearing results. -Calendaring and meeting all deadlines. -Complying with client directives Florida Rules of Civil Procedure court Orders and Firm policies. -Maintaining physical and electronic files. -Updating all applicable case milestones.
