Private Lessons for Intermediate Woodwind and Brass Instruments

I provide private lessons for woodwind and brass instruments including flute clarinet saxophone trumpet and trombone for beginning students of all ages. My name is Dale Zink and I am currently the Instrumental Director at Hope Lutheran Church and have been teaching private lessons for over 30 years. The beginning student will learn how to assemble disassemble and care for their instrument beginning embouchure (how to correctly place the mouth on the mouthpiece) how to get the instrument to produce notes and the correct pitches fingerings how to read music at the beginner level (this includes notes and rests from whole to sixteenths clefs times keys timing counting accidentals ties tempos articulations and their markings and more) and how to play beginning songs. Weekly half hour lessons can be either at my location or yours. Price per lesson ranges from 20 and higher depending on location. Please contact me for further information and to arrange for lessons.
