My client is a well-established Printing Firm they are looking for Database Data Entry Associate Duration 6 9 months contract with the possibility of extension Location Langley BC No. of Position s 1 Shift 8 30am 5 00 pm (Monday - Friday) Job Description General Overview The Forms Database Data Entry Associate liaises with staff customers within the organisations. This position is responsible for monitoring and updating our forms database. Good organizational skills speed and accuracy are key to successful database data entry management. Advanced MS Access an asset. Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel a must. This position is in a fast moving deadline driven environment. Concept for this temporary position (6-9months) will be to take our current manual process and help automate our Print ordering process. Catalogue and input current print specifications into a spreadsheet ready to be loaded to a database. Training 4- 6 weeks Duties and Responsibilities Using MS Excel MS Access maintain Locate catalogue and record existing forms within HSSBC Printing Services including specifications and other critical information Based on above information maintain individual pricing of all forms available on our web portal Upload required information and forms to our web portal for ordering of most current revisions of forms Run queries other reports as required liaise with HSSBC and other Forms and Graphic staff as required Working with The Printing Services Manager or Production Supervisors and utilizing Meridian identify locate and address orders that require updating based on database requirements Back-up as required to the Meridian billing Data Entry position Performs other duties as required by the Printing Manager. Other general aspects of this position This position works as part of the service delivery team that is aligned to one or more customers. He she will have a focus on the following Delivery of service that meets the Service Level Agreements and delights the customer Supporting the achievement of productivity improvements Contributing to service transformation and business growth SCOPE The work undertaken by the role holder is completed in line with the Service Level Agreements and Statements of Work relevant for the customer. Overview of Tier Responsibilities T These positions will have primary or secondary responsibility in any of the services within their tier. They will be responsible for delivering high standards of quality service. A high level overview of the major responsibilities for each level is as follows Tier 4 General Ensure customer issues and escalations are resolved or further escalated as appropriate Conduct quality checks on own work to ensure accuracy and required output is to standards Adhere to all safety procedures Perform backfill duties for absent coworkers Perform other duties as assigned by Manager Print Production Complete and maintain all logs and reports including month-end reports Input Meridian (billing system) requisitions REQUIRED SKILLS Proven ability to work under pressure handling multiple tasks to ensure timely completion of all activities Able to listen and communicate effectively Able to read write and follow basic English instructions Basic math skills (add multiply divide) Basic computer skills (keyboard mouse functions) Excellent communication and Customer service skills Effective organizational skills Intermediate or advanced mechanical abilities and motor skills EDUCATION College Technical School Certificate or equivalent experience (3-5 years) Health and safety certification (WHMIS) EXPERIENCE Experience in customer facing role customer service role (3-5 years experience) Service or Document management industry work experience Knowledge of and working skills with principles of colour theory colour calibration process and instruments Knowledge of substrates and their limitations and characteristics Knowledge of or experience with variable information workflows Operation of PC Applications in a networked environment Please note that this is the most up to date version of job description available at this time During Client Interview you will receive additional information variance may apply When you have some time please register in our database (5 minute process) to be considered for future openings the link is available on our website at www.teamrecruiter.com in the Candidate section.
