Directing The position requires a person qualified to teach Directing at all levels in the undergraduate Directing. Experience teaching Directing and or Acting for the Camera is an asset. S he must have extensive professional experience directing or a proven record of teaching acting for the profession and at a University level. Photography We have an exciting opportunity for a talented engaging and energetic Photography Instructor to develop a successful and comprehensive photography program for directing students. Audio production This part-time position requires an instructor who is able to provide students with an view of the process of audio post production for feature film and television including creative development of audio post production elements such as sound effect design music editing dialogue editing and the final mixing process. The final mix of a film or television soundtrack requires many different sound layers This is a part-time position required to provide on-site delivery to students. The qualified candidate will hold an appropriate recognized training certificate with teaching and directing experience. Qualifications - Post-secondary degree in media arts or related field - Minimum 5 years previous teaching experience - A desire to teach youth is essential - Experience in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator - Cultural Diversity and Special Needs experience an asset - Excellent supervisory and organizational skills - Must be able to successfully clear a Criminal Record Check Other Responsibilities Adheres to the policies and procedures of Canadian Film and Television Institute Maintains strict confidentiality of student and company information Demonstrates a strong commitment to the mission and values of the organization Adheres to company attendance standards Performs other duties as assigned Hours Minimum 2-3 hours per week Up to 6-10 hours weekly or more.
