Our client a well-established Major IT Consulting is looking for a Junior Accounting Clerk Location Mississauga Ontario Duration 1 Year contract position with possibility of extension DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES General accounting tasks in Accounts Payables Accounts Receivables Intercompany transactions Fixed Assets including but not limited to Weekly bank deposits Handle internal customer s queries on AR and AR processes Liaise with the bank and the payment team for any payment file issues Work with the scanning team and AP on non PO cheque requisitions Work with the bank for certified cheques Assure all desk and process procedures are maintained current and documented Process manual cheques and manual wire transfer payments to selected vendors Handle lockbox fallouts on a daily basis Preparation and review of monthly key performance indicators (KPIs) on a timely and accurate manner Prepare and review accounting procedures as required Involved in intermediate accounting situations to resolve Many other accounting tasks as required including projects compliance internal and external audits etc. As a global organization interact with internal and external customer providing direct and indirect support to other site organizations (Bangalore Latin America USA etc.) and business entities as may be required by customers SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS Bachelors degree with major in Accounting or other business finance or computer science major with at least 18 credit hours in Accounting Minor in Computer Science a plus 1-3 years of work experience in accounting Strong written and verbal effective communication skills Please note that this is the most up to date version of job description available at this time During Client Interview you will receive additional information variance may apply When you have some time please register in our database (5 minute process) to be considered for future openings the link is available on our website at www.teamrecruiter.com in the Candidate section.
