If you are not a Honest Dependable Reliable Team player please do not apply for this position Ability to follow instructions Ability to prioritize work assignments in order to complete tasks in a timely manner Ability to clean and sanitize all assigned areas Ability to lift 10 - 15 pound bucket from cart to sink a minimum of 15 times a day Ability to push a maid cart weighing up to 40 pounds up and down a hallway Ability to bend at the knees waist and neck at least 50 times a day to allow mopping in patient areas Able to understand basic Infection Control procedures Ability to function with minimal supervision Must be able to clean bed frames dresser drawers and closets monthly as a part of the Complete Room Schedule Must be able to deal with the patients in their rooms and understand that the Housekeeper is in the patients house Ability to recognize and report any maintenance problems Ability to deal with family members and other staff members in a professional and courteous manner.Working Conditions Stands Walks and bends most of the day. Works in clean well lighted and well ventilated patient areas. Must be able to interact with other people on the unit. Must be cautious while working to avoid cuts sprains or other injuries Exhibit proper caution and skill when floors are wet and slippery. Exposure to sharp objects and hazardous materials. Involves pushing and pulling carrying weight up to 50 pounds twisting bending and reaching from floor to waist height and from waist to above their head
