Perkins Foods Inc. Home of Mama P s Desserts Exceptional opportunity available for a part-time artistic cake decorator designer. We are seeking a talented individual who has extensive cake decorating expertise along with the ability to work independently. The bakery does a high volume of business and all staff must be able to do flawless work at a quick pace. The selected candidate must be a very customer service oriented professional who strives for perfection and ultimate customer satisfaction. Position requires experience working in a fast-paced commercial bakery decorating cakes and leading a team. We are hoping to find someone who is truly gifted in the art of cake decorating and loves what they do. Great leadership and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role. Starting pay rates depend on a Cake Decorator s knowledge and previous experience. Future pay increases are based on performance. Duties A Cake Decorator s responsibilities include but are not limited to the following Providing premier customer service Icing decorating packaging labeling and pricing products including cookies Filling customer special orders including wedding cakes Follow Cake Decorating guidelines set forth by Perkins Foods Maintaining Perkins Foods high standards for product freshness and sanitation Organizing and rotating stock in the Decorator s freezer Training other associates as needed Assisting with the deliveries Assisting in deliveries and set up of wedding cakes as needed Assisting in other duties as assigned Qualifications Required The required qualifications are as follows 18 years of age or older previous cake-decorating experience able and willing to read write and perform simple math problems able and willing to deliver friendly courteous prompt customer service able and willing to interpret understand and follow instructions and solve problems able and willing to work well with others as a team member Must possess a valid driver s license Email Resume to perkinsfoods(at)gmail.com
