Production Assembler 1st2nd Shift

Job responsibilities functions (To include but not limited to) Assemble electrical or electronic systems and support structures installing components units subassemblies wiring crimping soldering plugging stripping routing inspecting and potting. Adjust repair or replace electrical or electronic component parts to correct defects and to ensure conformance to specifications. Read and interpret schematic drawings diagrams blueprints specifications work orders and reports in order to determine materials requirements and assembly instructions. Understanding of the ISO 9001-2000 requirements Assign and explain assembly procedures or techniques to other workers Set up and maintain a clean working environment at all times Understand and follow all safety policies codes and procedures Expertise Skills Understand basic IPC-610 IPC-620 workmanship standards Familiar with hand crimping tools for standard terminal contacts (AMP Tyco Molex D-sub ) Maintain good communication with the Manager of issues that arise during shift period. The ability to quickly move your hand your hand together with your arm or your two hands to grasp manipulate or assemble objects. The ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp manipulate or assemble very small objects. The ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (e.g. patterns of numbers letters words pictures mathematical operations). The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing. Qualifications High School Able to read and understand English Good communication skills Meet strict deadlines Experience Experience in Manufacturing (2 years) as an assembler
