This is a 1971 Mercedes Benz 280SL in excellent restored condition. This car has just completed our 280SL process which consists of the following Paint the process starts with dismantling the car all bright work is removed windshield is removed doors trunk hood and front cowl are removed. We paint the door jambs and under hood and refresh the wheel wells and trunk. Chrome All chrome is either replaced or refinished we pay close attention to the headlight and taillight assemblies. Front grill is a focal point on this car as they tend to have dings and dents this is refinished. Interior We replace the all interior upholstery with GAHH leather ( not MB Tex ) all new seats door panels dashboard new carpets are correct German multi loop. In this car correct color Blue is used. Wood is refinished by Madera Concepts and fitted properly to the dash. Original Radio is rebuilt by Becker. Interior chrome is replaced as needed special attention is given to the threshold rails and inserts. Climate control levers are replaced steering wheel and steering wheel pad are refinished or replaced. Engine engines are removed and resealed. All new belts fluids hoses clamps ignition wires plugs and filters. Engine is properly detailed when being reinstalled. Car is then fully sorted mechanically brakes suspension exhaust .
