The Arc of Anchorage is seeking several DSPs to work in the community in individual homes and in our assisted living homes. Responsibilities include assisting individuals that experience developmental disabilities access to community activities work on household and personal hygiene goals social interactions or assist with personal cares. There are opportunities to work with children and young adults after school and in the evenings on their goals. Education & Experience Required High School diploma GED. Must be able to demonstrate computer proficiency including basic word processing typing following directions and spelling with accuracy. Must be at least 18 years old valid driver s license proof of auto insurance continuous use of a vehicle current TB test and the ability to pass a criminal background check. CPR & First Aid certifications. Preferred Experience in social services and or direct care in areas related to complex medical conditions and or developmental disabilities emotional disabilities.
