Part-time Network Monitoring ConsultantThis is a ground floor opportunity with a growing company The selected candidate will be able to Work remotely from home. Schedule their own work hours for mutually agreeable times with customers. Initially this is a part-time contract opportunity. However there is a strong potential that it will grow into a full-time position.Immediate need for a part-time network monitoring consultant with the following skills and experience Required Minimum of 5 years experience working with network monitoring tools and technology. Strong knowledge of network monitoring protocols and methodologies including SNMP SNMP Trap WMI syslog Flow protocols (NetFlow sFlow IPFIX etc.) IPSLA etc. Strong knowledge of IP network protocols and troubleshooting including subnet addressing routing and switching. Minimum of 5 years experience supporting IT infrastructure including networks servers and applications. Minimum of 5 years experience in at least one of the following areas Windows server administration Linux UNIX server administration Network administration Good communications skills and ability to interact with customers in a professional manner. Preferred Recent experience with the WhatsUp Gold monitoring solution. Cisco CCNA certification
