You Have High School Diploma. CDL A B and be able to pass Port Authority background check in order to obtain a Port Authority issued ID badge. You are Able to understand read (English airline instructions) communicate and write in English. Must be RELIABLE PRESENTABLE PROFESSIONAL Able to work with others as a TEAM PLAYER. Able to work closely with customers in a fast paced environment. Not afraid of heights You Will Load & unload trucks to cater to aircraft. Communicate effectively with team members. Communicate with the flight crew maintain good relations with the customer. Work in a safe manner to prevent accidents to self and coworkers. Cater to the airlines professionally. Ensure flights are catered correctly and on time Comply with all HACCP GMP and sanitation for proper food handling policies and procedures. Comply with Ramp Safety policies and procedures safety vests must be worn while out on the field. Nonessential functions Other duties as assigned Intellectual Social demands While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is continuously asked to multi-task under time limits. Position requires constant attention to precise details and accuracy of specified standards including following simple to complex (more than 3 steps) instructions and concentration which frequently extends beyond 30 minutes at a time. This position also requires constant use of interpersonal skills including being able to recognize and resolve conflicts being able to openly communicate in writing and verbally with customers. Physical demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand walk reach with hands and arms and stoop kneel or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and or move up to 50 pounds. Work environment While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to extreme cold heat (weather) heights and loud noise (earplugs must be worn while on the Ramp).
